About Hunter 🍖
Check out this handsome dude....
Hunter is our 14wk old Staghound x Pointer x Boxer x Cattle pup (a real Rescue mix!). He is currently being fostered on a property just outside of Singleton and been exposed to lots of different animals, including Goats, Sheep, Cows, Horses, Donkeys and Chickens. He is also living alongside 5 other dogs (both small and large), but would be best suited to a home with another active breed. He will be quite a big boy when fully grown.
Since coming into care, Hunter has responded well to training both inside and outside his foster home. He has been trained not to chase the Free-range chickens and content to just watch them, learning to keep all 4 paws on the ground around little children, and of course toilet training....which he's responding extremely well with.
Hunter has shown no food aggression and eats his dinner alongside his furry friends, staying at his own bowl. He is a beautiful natured pup (with an abundance of energy) and will need lots of ongoing training and socialisation to ensure that he grows up to be a well mannered and social adult.
Whist Hunter has not been exposed to cats in his foster home, we believe he would be fine if introduced correctly and boundaries are set. He is living with 6 adults and a 13mth old baby (who adores Hunter) and he absolutely loves cuddles!
Hunter will need a medium to large secure yard (or property) with height appropriate fencing, a family committed to continue on with his training, and people that will accept him as part of the family...forever.
All vet work will be complete this coming week, so it's time to organise meets. If Hunter sounds like the perfect addition to your home, please send us an enquiry!

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
