Jenavee is what we call in the husky business a "starter husky!" While she shows some of the typical husky bad habits, overall she is quite well behaved! She loves sharing her home with other confident young dogs who will play rough with her- older dogs just aren't her style as she can be a bit bossy. Jenavee would like another dog in the home or to have her people home more often than not, for companies sake. She is crate trained and will stay in her crate if needed- she does have a penchant for stealing books off low shelves! While she gets on well with other dogs, she can be a bit bossy around sharing her humans and food so a human with good dog knowledge is essential. She responds very well to corrections and is coming along very well in this area.

Jenavee is good on lead, though takes a few zig zags here and there, and does have recall in fenced spaces- don't test her in an unfenced area though, she would likely be too tempted to run off! Like most huskies, small animals and birds are a no-no as she doesn't quite understand they are friends. She knows sit and wait, and excitedly goes to her "spot" each night for food. On the topic of food- Jenavee is EXTREMELY food motivated! Everything, including veggies, are yummy! And she will work for it- slow feeders, puzzle toys, training, you name it and she will work for it. As a result she is super easy to train because she wants to please.

She would likely do very well in a family environment as she just LOVES attention, and will always take a cuddle- so children would be a-ok for this lovebug. She can jump up for food, so toddlers may get knocked over. While Jenavee would happily walk for hours, she also is content to snuggle on the couch or play with a soft toy in the backyard- so she would be fine in a medium activity household who can walk her most days of the week. Don't worry, shes fairly forgiving!

An important thing to note is that Jenavee may have had some bad experiences in life, and sometimes may flinch or cower at quick movements. This gets much better as she gains trust with her humans. Otherwise, she is a happy go lucky girl with a stunning personality!
