About š„ Cannoliš„
PLEASE READ CANNOLIāS ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE APPLYING
When he arrived into our care six months ago he was emaciated with much of his coat missing but after some love from his foster family and care from our vets Cannoli has been given the go ahead to look for his new home!
Cannoli is just about to turn 5 and his new family will be truly lucky to have him join their family. This sweetheart settled in so quickly and nothing phases him. He has happily gone on holidays with his foster family and even had a visit to grandmaās house which he loooved. No matter where he goes he is fantastic with his litter tray and always seems to make his way to your pillow on the bedā¦. He prefers to be with his people when they are home and doesnāt like to be locked away at all so a home that is willing to spend time with him is essential.
He has made friends with the dogs, cats and young people in his foster home and he loves them all. He will need a home with at least one other pet to keep him company while his family isn't home. The only friend we wish he hadnāt wanted to be near is his foster familyās pet bird which Cannoli is a bit too friendly with, so he definitely needs an indoor only home without any inside flappy friends. Luckily he is easily distracted with anything on a string and even stops playing for belly rubs from time to time.
His coat has also grown back nice and fluffy, the way he should be although his face is often grottier than weād like as heās an enthusiastic eater. Heāll need regular help with grooming his coat and eyes even though he doesnāt really enjoy it so someone with squishy experience is preferred.
Cannoli was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease in March although his only current symptom is his struggle to put on weight. However, since being on medication he has done quite well and is now a healthy 3kg! His current treatment is just one tablet a day and heās going to need this for the rest of his life. We are looking for a home that is able to continue this treatment but also one that continues to monitor his weight to ensure that his medication is working. His current vet in Ferntree Gully would be happy to continue treating him otherwise weāll be able to provide all relevant information for his transition.
Cannoli is in care in Blind Bight
Cannoli IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR INTERSTATE ADOPTION.
