Bertie

Bertie came to AWL NSW Illawarra as a stray kitten who was very unsure of humans. With lots of gentle love, care and patience he soon came to realise that humans weren't so scary after all and has become quite the smoochy and sweet kitten who just loves to melt into pats, give loving head butts and steal the food right off your plate!

Little Bertie has quickly come to rule the roost at his foster home!! Sometimes, in the dark, the humans can give him a fright, especially when they have funny coats or dressing gowns on and Bertie may let out a little hiss but soon realises it is his favourite humans and quickly comes for a pat, excusing their odd attire.

Bertie absolutely loves his 2 foster cat siblings and his face lights up when they are around. He will follow the big cats around the house, plays and chases them and loves it when they chase him, so he would definitely love a home with cats. Bertie will be suited to a forever home with humans who are patient and who can continue to nurture his growing confidence around people. With some yummy treats this shouldn't take too long!

All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
