About Rex
This handsome, deep-chested, happy chappy is REX, a Staffy male born on 6 September 2020.
There is something about Rex that makes you feel good just being around him. He's placid, friendly, loving, gentle and very adaptable. His big Staffy grin can put a smile on the face of the grumpiest human.
Rex's new foster mum was surprised by how quickly he settled into his new home and says he has such a sweet and gentle temperament. He is house and crate trained and knows his basic commands.
Rex is cat-tolerant and dog-friendly He's lived with both cats and dogs - but he's not keen on chooks or birds.
As for people, Rex makes it very clear that humans are his favourite species. Wherever his humans are, that's where he wants to be, too. He follows his foster dad from room to room, chills out with the family in the evenings, plays with the children in the backyard and, given a chance, will cuddle up on any willing lap.
Rex's gentleness even extends to the way he eats. He's not food aggressive and eats slowly.
There's nothing not to love about this placid, affectionate and intelligent boy. He even walks well on a lead!
He will thrive in a home where he is regarded as an integral member of the family. Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time. As always, good fencing is essential.
