An affectionate dog who loves nothing more than to be in your company, she will suit a home that has a lot of love to give.

Bordering on medium in size, she is larger than her Jack Russell mix but still considers herself a lap-dog as her perfect place is one tucked up, snoring right next to you on the couch. Being alone makes her a little anxious so she is looking for a home where her people are home a reasonable amount of time.

She will bark at dogs and can become over stimulated quite quickly. If her handler and other dog is calm she will grow to learn that dogs can be great friends and wonderful playmates. Commitment to training and positive social experiences will be necessary to ensure Zaida happily enjoys experiences in doggy shared community spoaces.

Our dogs available for adoption are living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form via the above link, you will receive a response within 14 days. Please check your 'Junk and Spam' folder.

Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.

Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
