URGENT FOSTER CARER OR ADOPTER NEEDED!!!

You don't honestly believe in that black cat/bad luck thing do you? Come on now! I'm the total opposite of that. When you're black from the tops of your paws to the tip of your tail, like me, without a whiff of another colour anywhere, you gotta believe you're here to do good in the world. And I have been. And will continue to do so. I'm all about the good vibes and good times. Gentle and affectionate are my middle names. Just brush my gorgeous soft black fur and hear me purr, baby. I've got a loud motor for all things cuddly and caring. Wait til you hear me get really revved up. Pats, snuggles, hugs, belly rubs and head scratches - please don't stop, I'll just lap it up and let you know how much I love it!
You know what I really like? Stretching in the sun to catch some rays (mmmm, feels good on that black fur) and sitting quietly next to you while you're watching TV and cooking (won't get in your way, promise!). I'm super patient with kids and I'll always be gentle with them - as long as they're not too boisterous or scare me - I wouldn't like that very much. I'm a very clean boy who has lots of affection and love to give, and loves to stay indoors. I do have a couple of things I don't like such as the vacuum cleaner (what is that thing and why does it make that terrible noise?)and wet food - just dry for me, please. If you're ready for a smart, gentle, purry and playful puss, then for goodness' sake put all your money on black. Only good things can come your way when I come and live with you. I feel like my luck's about to change and you're going to make an enquiry about me right now. Will you make my day?
Jackson is a healthy cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000003791153, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
