Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Lucy (was Lune)
Lune is back up for adoption for no fault of her own. Please note that Lune is dog reactive on lead and cannot be walked at busy dog parks or beaches.
Lune is a bundle of energy and fun, who loves playing and meeting new people. She is super energetic, intelligent, and loves to play with you. We are looking for a home that is experienced with high energy terriers like Lune, who does not have pocket pets or cats.
Lune loves to bring you toys to play with and at the end of the day, she
becomes the sweetest cuddle bug and will snuggle up to you on the couch, where scratches and pats are highly encouraged.
Lune has a personality that is hard not to fall in love with! She is a young girl who will need someone dedicated to further training using reward based techniques. She's a typical country terrier who likes to wake up early and get on with the day.
A home with a bit of space, away from suburban life would be ideal. Lune has decided that it's her job to let you know if anyone walks past the house. She takes her job very seriously.
Lune is still learning how to engage with dogs politely, she will need someone who is happy to take her to training classes to help with this.
Lune's adoption also covers a half an hour post adoption training session with our lead behaviour trainer here at Second Chance Animal Rescue or online.
Please note Lune does have some mild luxating patella's. No veterinary intervention is needed at this time and is an extremely common issue in smaller breed dogs.
