A precious gem!
- Opal is named for the many flecks of colours in her shiny coat. She is a quiet girl (when not purring her magnificent purr).
- She loves to know what's going on all around - sits avidly watching the birds outside but is a happy indoor cat.
- Opal is very attentive and a real smoocher. She's a little timid, but follows her carer around and sits right beside them for a smooch and cuddle. She's not really a lap cat at this stage but loves sleeping on the bed at night, usually at the bottom in her bed.
- Opal loves playing with balls, feathers and anything she can hit along the floor.
- She's a good eater, eating anything (very quickly). She loves drinking out of the bathroom tap.
- Opal is untested with other animals and children.
- If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate companion, meet Opal and let her steal your heart!

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
5 GREAT REASONS TO ADOPT FROM SAFE BUSSELTON:
- Lifetime guarantee: if you can no longer care for me, SAFE Busselton will take me back;
- Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, desex and microchip;
- Foster care instead of cage confinement, so I get love and socialisation;
- Speak directly with my foster carer;
- Quick response to your enquiry.
