About Xena
Xena is a young, happy-go-lucky girl, who adores playing with other doggy friends, going for walks with her people and sleeping. Xena is a dream girl!
Xena has worked on her manners on-lead, and loves showing off her skills. Sometimes even walking herself with lead in mouth, just to show you how smart she is. She would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training in her forever home, as all dogs would!
She also loves using her crate as the perfect, safe space to nap, but whilst you are at home, Xena loves nothing more than to be your shadow and can often be found resting at the feet of her people.
Xena also doesn’t mind some alone time and suits households that need to spend time away from the house without her (though, she would much prefer being with her people!).
She would enjoy living with a friendly male dog, as she loves playing with other dogs.
Xena really is the dream dog, who would suit many household dynamics! She will give her humans a lifetime of love and laughs in return for their commitment to her.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Xena is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
Xena’s left hip is poorly constructed and although it is causing her no discomfort and the joint is stable, the vet felt it would be good to put her on a joint support diet and supplements. Not over exercising or encouraging jumping is also recommended.
