About Polly
This little cutie is Princess POLLY, a Jack Russell Terrier/Kelpie x Cattle Dog puppy born on 15 March 2022.
Polly's mum is a JR-Kelpie of small build and her dad is an Aussie blue cattle dog.
In this particular breed mix, there are a lot of complementary qualities, some or all of which may end up in Polly. The JRT is a playful, independent, energetic, and plucky little dog. Trainable, smart, and very alert, she's a dog with a big personality. The Kelpie is sweet-tempered, eager to please, loyal and very clever. Doesn't everyone love a Kelpie? As for the cattle dog, she is an exceptional problem-solver, very loyal to his family and inclined to be reserved with strangers.
Polly is a super affectionate, placid natured, playful pup. She is completely house-trained, walks well on a lead and can stay and sit on command.
Looks-wise, she is a very pretty little pup with distinctive "Minnie Mouse" ears on her side.
Polly's an affectionate pup, is used to living with children and is cat and dog friendly.
To be happy and content, Polly will need an abundance of love and attention, along with plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation.
If you are interested in meeting her, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Polly's adoption fee is $795. At the time of adoption, she will be desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
Preference will be given to a home where someone is around most of the time, there is another dog for her to play with and Polly will get the training, socialisation and care sheneeds to reach his full potential.
Prior experience with Jack Russells and/or working breeds will be well regarded. She is not suited to full-time workers. Secure fencing is essential.
Polly is available for interstate adoption.
