About Adeline (Addy)
MEET ADELINE!
Addy is approximately 1 and a half years young, she is a gorgeous medium fur princess that is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated x2 and ready for her forever home.
Adeline was born wild and trapped as a stray along with other cats, all of whom have found their own forever homes, now it's Adeline's turn!
Addy has spent her first year of life living as a wild kitty, terrified of humans and never had any human contact. She has since been rescued, rehabilitated and completed her vet work, she has been in foster care with our wonderful, dedicated foster carer for 4 months and has made incredible progress!
She has gone from being terrified and flinching at any touch, to actively looking for affection and smooching all over her foster mum. Adopting an ex-stray cat like Adeline is extremely rewarding and something to be proud of!
We are looking for a very special, PATIENT, loving home for Adeline where she will be allowed to take all the time she needs to settle in and feel safe again, we expect it to take a little longer than your regular kitty to settle in and a 4 week trial will be offered so her new family has ample time to get to know her and allow her to settle in. She is currently in care with 2 small dogs that dont bother her so she may be fine to live in a home with cat-friendly little dogs and she isn't bothered by the other cats in the foster home, so as long as the resident kitty is also gentle and passive, she would be fine living with them too in fact another kitty to bond with may even help her to feel safe and happy.
Addy is genuinely a very sweet, gentle soul that has a lot of affection and love to give to the right home and we are desperate to find her the puurfect home that she deserves! Please check out the videos and photos of her amazing progress!
*Addy is INDOOR ONLY for life so please only apply for her if this is suitable for your home (no doggy doors please)
*Addy has been around the foster carer's older grandchildren and she is happy and enjoys their presence so she would be fine to live with older kids 10+ that are gentle and understanding of her needs.
Medical notes
Addy is a healthy young adult, we recommend feeding her a premium quality diet such as Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet or Advance to keep her in top condition.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
