Lucy

Lucy is a big, friendly girl who is looking for a loving family to fit into!
As she has missed out a little bit in the past, Lucy would love to feel like a big part of the family and be taken along on all of the family adventures.
At 44kg, she is a very strong lady and does tend to pull on the lead. While at the shelter she’s been working on her loose-lead walking on a halti and has been doing really well, but her new owners will need to keep up with this training so they can be confident when walking her. She would also benefit greatly from attending group obedience classes with her new owners.
Due to a lack of experience, Lucy is a bit wary of other dogs so will need to be the only furchild in her new home; however is quickly making progress and discovering that there is nothing to worry about. She has been around children previously, but due to not quite realising how big she is, she would be better suited to live with children over the age of 10.
