About Violet
Hi I’m #violet 💜
I’m 10 weeks old and been with my current foster family for almost two weeks. I’ve settled in really well with out the rest of my litter. I sleep through the night, do most of my business outside now and I’m growing big and strong.
My human foster mumma has been making me learn my independence and I’m getting better at entertaining myself out on the yard or in my play pen on my own. My furry foster mum has been teaching me what’s appropriate and what’s not seen as how I was taken from my real mum when I was very young.
I have two nicknames 1) Wiggle bum and 2) snappy crocodile. The other night I met the family cat for the first time, I really wanted to play with her but it turns out she is like Edward scissor hands and I will leave her alone for awhile I think.
I love to cuddle on the lounge, I love the kids so much and I’m very smart. Hunting for my food foster mumma hides for me is my favourite game! Oh and have you ever seen one of those spikey things that sweep up the mess I make with pot plants? They are such good fun!!!
Seriously, by far the most outgoing of the litter our girl is no shrinking Violet. Her adopter will need to be looking at activities that keep her occupied.
As she gets older things like agility, herding, luring, dancing, scenting are all options. Please don’t apply if your just looking for a pretty kelpie.
Born 15 May 2022
Supervised socialisation and training will be an essential part of Violet’s life. She and her siblings have been without mum since they were 4 weeks old. while we have provided as much of the necessary sibling guidance they all may still require critical behaviour development training.
It is highly recommended that her new home:
- has working dog experience
- are prepared to continue with crate training, at least while they are adjusting to the new home environment
- will commit to training classes for their future well being.
All Farmdogz Rescue Inc Dogs and Puppies come Vet checked, C5 vaccinated, microchipped and desexed as a part of their Adoption Fee
ADDITIONAL ADOPTION CONDITIONS
Adopting a pup from FarmDogz comes with additional conditions and all potential adopters must agree to them.
1) a completed adoption application is a required
2) a home visit will happen before you meet a pup
3) based on the home visit we may recommend a particular pup to you as a result of your family dynamics. This is because each pup has their own personality and one may thrive in a certain household more than another.
4) if successful in being select to adopt a puppy you must enroll and attend approved puppy classes to provide the appropriate foundation for their future.
5) you will agree to an additional home visit at 2 weeks post adoption so a FarmDogz representative can ensure the pups well-being.
6) FarmDogz will arrange a mandatory post adoption sibling catch up after 6 weeks in their families. This is so we can provide relevant on going support and you can meet the other adopters.
Medical notes
A booking for desexing will be made in consultation with the adopter under veterinary advice at a FarmDogz approved veterinary clinic.
