Introducing Buster Belvedere ... A perfect gentleman who would love nothing more than cuddling up on the couch with you to binge on some Netflix.
Buster is a quietly confident cat, who settles in quickly to new environments. He is friendly and extremely affectionate and loves sitting on your lap and receiving head rubs. He just loves to relax in the house and hang out with the family. Super cool dude. He is affectionate with both family and strangers and is okay with being picked up.
Buster currently lives with another cat and dog. Manners befitting of his gentleman status, he shows respect to the territory of both the cat and the dog and lives in peaceful harmony with them. Should the dog on occasion get into his face however, Buster will let him know he needs his personal space as politely as he can.
Buster is generally in good health having recently had some teeth extractions and, although he may have some arthritis (not yet determined), it certainly does not impede his movement.
He has an extremely good appetite and takes great enjoyment from eating, ah, such a relaxed and comfortable life!
Completely litter trained, he prefers being an indoor cat and shows little interest in the outdoors. Buster does not tend to jump much higher than the desks in the study and, although, he does like the odd play, prefers to meander and lounge around the house and in particular likes the office chair for some quiet reflective time.
Buster's ideal forever home would be a quieter household where his humans are often around for some company and affection, however, he is also okay with his own company. He would not mind some furry companions; however, they would need to be older and equally as respectful of his boundaries and he would be towards theirs. A smaller, older dog may be suitable
If this delightfully, polite gentleman sounds like your ideal match, he would love to hear from you.
Thank you to Heather from Brown Dog Studio for the amazing photos of Buster.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Please note that we do not take/make telephone calls prior to receiving an application.
Commonly asked questions and their answers are provided when you email us. We look forward to receiving your application.
