MELLOW FELLOW!
- Rufio is a very Mellow Fellow!
- Rufio's a relaxed, sociable, and gentle 18 month old boy. 
- Rufio loves company, but is also content to play on his own. He's very  friendly when guests visit, and always ready to accept pats. He sits near his carer at all times, likes to keep them company, and is very content sleeping at the foot of their bed. 
- Rufio has a very quiet purr, and doesn't meow. He gets little playful bouts of energy at night and chases the toy mouse around but with his very gentle nature, never uses his claws.
- He has a normal appetite, and eats and drinks with no issues. He uses his litter tray well.
- Rufio's fine with kids over 5 - he doesn't get his claws out even when play fighting and doesn't seem to get skittish or stressed.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.

The adoption fee of $275 includes desexing, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment, vaccination and vet check.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
