Hi, my name is Diego. I am a young fellow looking for a forever home. I am a beautiful, snuggly boy who also loves to play with adults and children, or I can even amuse myself if I am on my own. Whether it is a walk, a play, a cuddle or just a relaxed chill, I will be your loyal companion.

My ideal home would have people who are home a lot of the time and who are willing to continue my training. I know my manners and am a quick learner. I can sit, drop, shake hands, come back when I’m called, stay, I’m crate trained and I wait for my food. I am toilet trained and learning my lead manners but, while I need more practice, my foster mum says I am making great progress.

I am easy to look after, I need little grooming, I am fit, happy and enjoy life especially with my humans. My energy level is medium ie. I like to play but also like to relax and chill with the family. I love to play fetch and would enjoy a daily 30 minute walk. While I love my food, I have never shown any food aggression and, in fact, I even let my foster mum take a pig’s ear out of my mouth.

Most of all I need love, and a family who are kind, consistent and fair. I love being a good boy and being praised for it.

I am very friendly with children and am currently living with two children who I love to play with. I tend to play a bit too rough for really young children so would probably be best with children over the age of 5 years. I live with a cat and we are good pals.

I do not normally jump or dig, but for safety's sake I need secure 5 - 6ft fencing. My ideal home would be a family with older kids who have one or more doggy playmates with medium energy levels, secure 5- 6ft fencing, a nice comfortable bed indoors, daily interaction with my forever family, ongoing training, and walks.
