About Moo
Hi! I'm Moo and I'm looking for a new family to call my own. If only I could find them before Christmas that would be the best present EVER!!
Are you the one I’ve been looking for? I’ve got so much love and happiness to give. If only you would give me a chance.
In my new home, I need to have these basic things:
- A daily walk, trip to the park or beach plus some fun playtime in the backyard
- Be an inside dog so I can hang with my family and share cuddles
- Join a training class so I can keep building on my manners
- A home with another playful dog because I love to play
- Secure fencing all round (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
- Toys and puzzles that stretch my mind
- Lots of love and attention - I’m just super eager to please
- A diet of good quality dry food to keep my teeth nice and clean
The kind team at Shoalhaven Animal Shelter have invested heaps of time getting to know me and they tell me how much they love me so they are super keen to find the right family as I will be a great girl once settled in.
Animal Care Officer, Rene, says:
“We’re looking for an active family for Moo where getting out and about is the daily routine. And if there are kids, ones who are older so they can handle her bouncy-ness when she’s excited. She is very bouncy so you’ll need to keep working with her on that. The great thing is though, when she’s inside she’s much more calm and gentle so hanging out in the house is a must for this loving girl. She’s got a really nice nature so we’ve invested time in training with her and found she’s really eager and wants to learn. She will come along in leaps and bounds with the right home and steady training.
Moo’s standout features:
- Her smile!
- Very playful and great with other friendly dogs
- Can already sit and shake hands on command
- Is clever so would love a family who will teach her some cool tricks
- Loves attention and snuggles with people
- Social butterfly
- A super cute wiggly bum
Things Moo needs:
- Being a big girl, she will need a halti or harness for walking
- A family that promises to do training to work on her jumping up
- She’s still young, so like any young dog, needs toys for chewing
