About Stella ~ 1yr Old German ShepherdX(On Trial 8/8/22)
Stella is a 14 month old female German Shepherd x Kelpie Stella is fiercely loyal and loves being with her humans getting belly rubs, playing tug of war or just sitting at your feet near the fire watching TV.
Because of her love for her people she would need a home where there are people home a lot who can spend time playing with her, continuing her training, walking her and taking her for drives to wide open areas such as off leash areas for a big run around.
Stella has mastered some great basic manners (sometimes with the help of treats) like sitting and waiting for her dinner, sitting on command, walking on the lead and staying on her bed inside all night unless nature calls and she will get up and go to the door. She still needs a bit of extra attention with her pulling on the lead.
In the warmer months Stella enjoys sleeping outside at night, but in the cooler months she
looks forward to sleeping inside cuddled up snug as a bug in a rug. Stella would absolutely love and thrive in a home with an individual or with a family who can spend lots of time with her. She loves and plays very well with her human children who are aged 11 and 14.
Stella will require a slow introduction to any existing dogs in the family. She can struggle
meeting dogs on a lead but enjoys chasing a ball running around with other dogs off leash. In fact she HATES “home time”. Stella is a loyal, loving and energetic companion. Her ideal family will absolutely want Stella as part of the family and include her in their everyday lives.
You MUST have a minimum of 6ft colourbond (or similar) fencing, as Stella is jumping the fences of her current home when her family leave for the day. She would be best suited to a home where someone is home more often than not.
For more information on Stella, please contact her foster carer on their email adoptginger@outlook.com. Stella is in foster care in Kotara, NSW and is available for
adoption interstate.
Stella’s adoption fee is $500 which includes all up to date vet work. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
