About Rin
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
A gorgeously gentle and sweet girl, Rin has come a LONG way since her timid early days in foster care! Get ready to be bewitched by her stunning green eyes, and her adorable habit of waiting expectantly on the bed or couch for you to swoop in with kisses and cuddles :)
Her favourite activity with her foster carer is sitting on the couch with them and receiving belly rubs from them.
Rin is quite expressive and vocal, and will purr loudly when receiving pats or meow when she wants attention. Being young in age and in heart, she also loves a vigorous play with her toys and a good roll around on the carpet!
Like all Maggie's pets, Rin is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be a quiet, calm place - ideally with a feline friend! I'm still a bit shy and scare easily, so a low-key sort of environment with patient humans who are willing to continue to build up my confidence would be purrfect.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I spend most of the day lazing around, but get quite curious when the sun sets - that's when I like to prowl the house in search of adventure and get busy with my toys!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children since coming into foster care, but I think I'd be great with them because I'm so gentle! Slightly older kids (at least school age) will probably suit me better, as they'll be more understanding if I get a bit scared.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I absolutely love other cats! The resident kitty at my foster home isn't *totally* psyched about no longer being the only cat in the house, but that doesn't stop me from constantly trying to get close to her! I do try to respect her space though, so I mostly roll around near her instead :)
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
