About Venus
Introducing Venus! Venus is a Stumpy Tail Smithfield Cattledog born on 3 March 2022.
Venus is looking forward to finding her forever home.
Venus is currently housed with her 4 brothers and they love to play and get along very well.
She loves her human companions and meeting new friends.
Being a pup, she will be easily trainable and these loyal dogs love to please their owners.
Like every pup, Venus will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure she grows to be a well rounded gal.
She still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family. Venus will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Being young she is still growing into her personality, but this little girl is a very loving pup who can't wait to find her forever home.
Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along and will be always best buddies. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure that there is no chance of infecting the pups who are currently not up to date with their vaccinations.
As a working breed you need to make sure that you understand the requirements for a working breed. As cattle dogs are an energetic breed, they can jump high with ease, you will need to put in the time and effort, therefore she will require physical and mental stimulation to function well for her breed. In particular, these dogs are not a typical dog you can put in your backyard unless you put in the time and effort. As a working breed they are highly intelligent and they thrive on learning new experiences and being kept busy.
Venus adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration and puppy pre- school.
Venus is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations for her age.

We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
