About Joey
Meet Joey!
When you meet Joey in person, the first thing you will notice (besides her gorgeous green eyes) is that she is a wobbly kitty cat.
This very special cat has Cerebellar Hypoplasia or Wobbly Cat Syndrome. This means that she was born with an underdeveloped Cerebellum, which has lead to her having an unsteady gait.
There is no cure for Joey's condition, so her forever home will just need to keep her safe and cosy! Joey will need to be an indoor only feline, in a home with adults only, or with secondary aged children also - this is just to prevent any accidents like knocking her over.
She would not be opposed to living with another cat, as long as the resident cat is a calm cat who is not interested in playing rough. One small knock could have Joey falling over.
If you think your home could be the special place for Joey, then please visit the Cranbourne shelter today!
**Pictured with Joey is Bagel (ID 1103340) who she would be happy to continue to share her new family with, but they do not need to be rehomed together**
