If you’re looking for a lively dog who is incredibly loving and affectionate, then let me introduce you to Genji. Genji can't wait to be part of an active forever family who can give him mental and physical stimulation and love. Genji has some separation anxiety and will require a home with a friendly and tolerant resident dog (preferably a young, medium to large female) to show him how to be his most confident and happy self.
Genji is a very fast learner and extremely smart. He came into care not knowing a thing and he is now toilet trained, knows how to sit, stay, lay down, shake your hand and is good on lead.

Genji has been an outside dog up until coming into care so he is still learning his manners and what it means to be an inside dog. Genji loves to chew when he’s bored, so he will need a home willing to provide enrichment toys and some good boredom busters to prevent he’s chewing tendencies. Genji is an active puppy and needs regular walks and a yard with space for him to play tug of war and zoom around to expend some of that energy.

Genji is fully toilet trained and happily sleeps all night on his bed in his foster parent's room. Genji still needs some help learning boundaries - he is not aware of his size or of people's personal space and just wants to sit on your lap or lean against you. As a result, any children in his forever family should be upper primary or older as he doesn't know his own strength at times. Genji's favorite place is on the couch with his people, and the family lucky enough to get this beautiful boy will be in for lots of cuddles, but they will also need to continue his training to help him be the best dog he can be.
