Hi, I'm Murphy!
I came to the RSPCA as a stray, so I haven't had a lot of practice with living in a home. I enjoy my own company, but I think it's time for me to find a human friend who will welcome me into their heart. I'm looking for a quiet and patient family who will let me take my time to come out of my shell. I don't mind kids, as long as they play gently. I do love my food though! Lots of tasty treats will help me learn that people are friends.
I'm working undercover to keep an eye on your household, and I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation. But don't worry, I'll always come out of the shadows at dinner time
I would like to live inside with you, I've done my time in the cold outdoors!

You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:

Peninsula: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
For our Warrnambool and Wangaratta locations, please call the RSPCA shelters to book an appointment to meet our available animals:
