Hi! My name is Cade and I’m a 2 year old Kelpie boy :-)

I am currently living on a farm with my foster family and I absolutely love it! I’ve been spending my days working around the farm with my foster family and it’s just what I need. I have so much fun running around, swimming, and playing with my doggy friends everyday. I also looooove speaks toys! I am also the kind of dog who is quite happy to curl up on the couch with you after a day of running and playing, and just hang out with you.

I get along with most other animals. So far I have met some horses, cows, some chickens and even a cat that sometimes bops me on the nose! They also live on the farm and I am very polite and well behaved around them. I have also lived with small dogs and I am a very good boy around them too. I am house trained and am happy to sleep inside or out.

I’m a pretty cruisey guy, who loves nothing more than just hanging out with my humans or doggy pals, whatever the activity is that we’re doing. I’m really friendly and get along with everyone, dog or human! I have mastered all of the basic commands such as sit, lay down, shake and to stay. I know my name and my recall off lead is coming along nicely. I also have very good leash manners, and love to go for walks either on or off leash.

I would love to find a family who live on acerage, so that I have some room to run around every day. Most kinds of families would suit me as long as they understand the daily physical and mental demands of my breed. Please no small yards / townhouses etc as they would not suit me!

I need a family who is dedicated to my ongoing training, as I’m still young and love to learn new things. I would also love another doggy sibling to live with, or to have someone who is home most of the time to hang out with.
