About Kanga
Looking to bounce into a new home is our super special boy Kanga whom at 2 years of age is looking for a change of lifestyle away from the farm and try life as a suburban Kelpie.
Far to keen to prove himself as a Kelpie, Kanga needs a home with secure fencing with no sheep or other livestock located near by.
Such a good boy, Kanga is great with other dogs happy to do his own thing and would love to be part of an inclusive family. Kids old enough to keep there feet around a fast paced dog who loves balls and games of chasey would be ideal companions for this gorgeous boy.
Eager to please, great on a lead and responsive to voice this boy never disapoints. A great all rounder Kanga is hoping t find the perfect family to be his new and last Furever home.
Although needing to trial life as a city slicker, Kanga does have medium to high energy levels and will require a home willing to keep him active and enriched, fit and healthy he would be a great running partner or excel at retrieving that ball you continue to throw over and over again. Super intelligent we reckon' our boy Kanga would also be a great fan of food puzzles and enrichement feeders.
Keen to meet Kanga the Kelpie? Bounce over to the phone and give BARC a Ring-A-Roo on 5441-2209 to discuss a meet and greet.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
