Queenie

Sweet Queenie is a beautiful 4-year-old Beagle x Kelpie. She is a very loyal and loving Dog. She thrives when she is inside with her humans and loves all the pats and cuddles. She is a great guard dog though can get a bit carried away with her barking, however if she is walked regularly, she barks a significant amount less.

Queenie is timid around people (especially new people) so she may take some time to warm up to you, but once she does, she is a lovely dog to have. She is a quick learner and wants to please you, which is a great quality for a dog to have.

Queenie is good with other dogs, but she will need some work on her socialisation skills, as she can get very excited to meet another dog and forget her manners. After some training and more opportunities to meet other dogs, she will quickly learn.

Queenie will fit in well with a family or person who has the time to show her the love she deserves and who can take the time to make her feel safe and comfortable. She loves company so a home where there is someone home a lot or with another dog would be ideal.

Meet and Greets: as mentioned Queenie is timid around new people. It would be best if you are able to meet with Queenie a few times before taking her home with you, just so she gets to know you first and learns to trust you.
