Benji is such a lovable boy with a calm nature and loves affection. He is gentle but he does not realise how big he is and is best with people steady on their feet.
He is very smart and knows basic commands, but sometimes needs a little reminder. He can sit stay shake paws, even comes when called, but although he may look like an adult, he is actually still a puppy and would benefit greatly from consistent training to learn boundaries.
Benji is a very active dog when required, otherwise he is more than happy to keep your feet warm. Its like he has an on/off switch... we play now.. we rest now. He would benefit greatly with a doggy sibling and humans that will include him in many of their daily activities. He thrives from interactive toys like Kongs and activities that will stimulate his mind.
.
Benji is not a big barker but will let you know if someone is visiting. He loves his food but is happy to wait his turn for treats and stays well for his dinner bowl.
Benji is mostly an inside dog at his current foster home, but must be outside if his humans are not home, as he can be a little destructive. He is in crate training but does not enjoy it and has been able to escape them several times - very smart boy.
In the right environment he will be a very loyal, lovable companion.
Benji is $300 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea tick and worm preventatives.
