About Flash
The friendly, adorable and unique Flash is now seeking his forever home
Flash is an active, happy and loving 8 -month-old Bull Arab x. He has a beautiful soft white coat and endearing floppy ears. He has a unique brown patch on one of his ears and on his tail. He also has two different coloured eyes that make him so adorably unique. Flash is such a loving, friendly, excitable pup!

Based on his age and current weight we think he will be a large dog
This big goofy fella is 36 kilos of love and puppy
Flash loves to be near his humans and loves to play. As soon as he sees his foster humans, he whines and gets excited anticipating interaction. He loves human touch, pats and belly rubs. He can get quite excited and paw, lick and mouth when playful. He does calm down when his humans hold his head in a firm cuddle.
As soon as anyone goes to him, he gets very excited, wagging his tail, jumping up and running around. Sometimes, all he wants is to put his head and paws on his humanâs laps and he thinks he is lap dog but unfortunately can only fit his head or paws on his humanâs laps. He loves zooming around and playing with anything he can bite, chew, dig or throw around. When he bounds around, he reminds his foster family of a colt, long, gangly legs and lanky body!
OBEDIENCE
Flash is a very adorable dog and loves being with his humans. He is eager to please and should be easy to train. His ears twitch when he hears his humans and is quick to run to them. He is still a pup and requires training to mind his manners and interact with others.
His now family will need to invest some time into his training as he has had little and can be a big good head lol
ENRICHMENT
Flash is not a barker although once he is comfortable and finds his voice, he has a deep and rich but somewhat muted bark. He will need stimulation when alone for long periods, such as chewing on bones or toys. If left for too long, he can get bored and create his own entertainment as he is still quite young and loves to explore and chew. He gets super excited with company.
He is very well behaved on the lead and loves going on walks and exploring the neighbourhood. He is very high energy and excitable, as most pups can be. He craves human interaction and wants to be with his humans. He loves all kinds of toys, especially those he can chew on or play tug-o-war with. His favourite game is playing âroughhousingâ like he would have with his siblings. He loves chasing anything that moves, including birds or even the water from the garden hose. Long walks, bones and toys keep him out of trouble and adequate training and enrichment is a must.
SLEEPING
He sleeps all night, either in the laundry or on the doggy couch on the undercover decking. He would love to be inside but is also happy outside.
SOCIALISATION
He loves being around his humans and he can get very excited when people visit, even strangers. He has a tendency to start zooming around, jumping up, and greeting them. He can be quite excitable and run around and jump on people and needs to be trained to interact calmly.
He loves human interaction and is very friendly. He is very dog social and loves to run and play.
We feel that Flash will be best suited to a home with an older female who is not too high energy but can play with him and show him the ropes. As he is very social, we are looking for a home who will keep him well socialized
FOOD
He eats well morning and night. He is not a fussy eater and will eat anything that is given to him, his dry food and fresh doggy rolls (Prime 100). He likes having the odd bone for enrichment. He is not extremely food-focused but will eat when he is hungry.
MEDICAL/HYGIENE
Flash will need regular baths as he loves to run and roll around. He loves water and is happy to get wet. His is quite healthy and his short coat is easy to maintain. Flash has had all his vaccinations and been desexed.
TRAVEL/CAR
He needs a little bit of encouragement to get into a car but is very happy when he is inside with minimal reassurance if he seems unsure.
IDEAL HOME:
We feel that Flash would thrive in a home with a family that is regularly home who include him in all aspects of their lives. Flash would probably prefer to be an inside dog with easy outside access, giving him the freedom to choose. He is happy to be left outside when his humans are away. His family will need to invest time in him and ensure he has daily enrichment because he can be quite active. He will need space as he loves to run so a decent yard is required. Flash is a loyal and adorable companion and would love to live with a family that is active, give him the love, attention, energy, training and enrichment that he needs.
Flash can get mouth with excitement so small children are not idea for him but he would love a big playful female to play and wrestle and romp with
