About Scrat ~ 9yr Old Min. PinscherX(On Trial16/9/22)
Scrat is not your everyday day dog. This 9year old is a Miniature Pinscher X or Min Pin for short. He has the unusual name of Scrat, which is the name of the squirrel in Ice Age. I think Scrat actually should have been called Oscar, but he answers to Scrat, Scratty, so he must like his name.
Scrat is a typical Min Pin, he is smart, he loves his comfort, lap time snoozes , will play chase and loves walks.
Scrat doesn’t like to be disturbed , so can be a bit of a grouch (hence Oscar) & he does resource guard his bed & bedding. Ideally Scrat would suit a single retired person & he is very much male orientated. Someone who will ignore the growling & grumbling as you walk past him when he is snuggled in his bed. But will happily share their lap & play tug or chasings with him.
Scrats would be best in a home :
- An experienced dog owner
- A quiet home with a single adult who can ignore a grumpy male.
- Someone home mostly.
- As an only dog.
- Someone with commitment to give him time to settle & learn trust.
For more information on Scrat, please contact his foster carer on their email anne4drn@gmail.com . Scrat is in foster care in Singleton , NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Scrat’s adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Scrat please fill out the adoption application form herehttps://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
