About Rebel
Hi, my name is Rebel and I am a 6 year old Rottweiler.
I am a very caring, loyal and loving dog, and spend most days outside playing and exploring.
However, I’m also allowed inside and have very good manners.
Love being inside with the family & enjoy a few cuddles 🧸
I’ve got quite springy legs so a nice 6 ft fence is good for me and I know how to sit, stay and get down, but may need some reminding from time to time.
My owners say that I’m a social butterfly in the dog park, as I like to go up to each dog and say a friendly hello. I absolutely love dog parks, just as much as I love playing fetch. I’ve grown up around kids and have been introduced to a lot of my owners friends and family and really enjoy meeting new company. Like I said, social butterfly 🦋.
The past 5 years I have grown up with my older sister, who is another Rottweiler. I really love going on walks together and we spend days by ourselves when our owners go to work for the day. I’m use to being pretty independent too, as when my owners go on holidays my older sister would go to a separate holiday house.
My owners would take me for multiple walks 🐾👟 during the week, which I really look forward too. Even though I may be super excited to begin with, I settle into it pretty quickly.
As for cats, they get me too excited and I haven’t worked them out yet. So that’s a no from me. No cats 🚫🐈
I’m very sad to say goodbye to my current owners but I still have a lot of love to give and lots of pats to receive and can’t wait to find a new forever home. 💕
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
