About Oatie
Oatie is a 1.5yr old red and tan kelpie. He is a big lovely boy whose main goal in life is to be the life of the party and be with his family.
During his time in care he has shown his foster parents how good he really is. He has his basic manners figured out and is now ready to learn more complex tricks. He loves to go for long walks and car rides.
Oatie loves having other dogs around and gets along with everyone perfectly in his foster home. He would be best suited to have a doggy friend at home with him around the same size. He is good to be by himself if he has humans around but can get bored if left home alone too long.
Oatie's ideal home would be with either a dog companion or someone who spends a lot of time at home or can take him out and about. Oatie doesn’t quite realise his size so is suited to a home with older children only (10+yrs). A home that understands the mental and physical stimulation that he requires is a must, this boy needs more than just a walk to wear him out by the end of the day.
If you think your home might be suitable for Oatie, he would love to hear from you.
Oatie is located in NSW...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
