About Hugo
Hi there! I'm Hugo, and I'm currently holidaying with a lovely foster mum. I know she loves me, but we are both keen for me to get into my forever home so I can start to bond with you and learn your rules. Having fostered lots of pups, here’s what she has to say about me:
"Hugo is a super confident and social little fellow. He loves life and everyone he gets to meet, human and canine. They all love him back, which reinforces his sunny disposition and optimistic outlook. Hugo is smart, playful, trainable and keen to please. For a pup of his age Hugo is mature; he is fully house trained and travels in the car and walks on the lead well. Whilst he scoots about at the beach he is pretty chilled at home.
"Whoever is fortunate enough to adopt Hugo is guaranteed devotion with buckets of love. He is a straightforward companion, with no issues, who brings joy to everyone he meets.
"Hugo will weigh around 15kg when fully grown. His ideal home will be one where he has company most of the time, and plenty of opportunity for fun interactions with other friendly dogs."
Medical notes
Hugo came to the RSPCA with a fracture of his rear leg, which had already begun to heal. After x-rays were taken, vet advice was that no further surgical or medical intervention was required.
His mobility is not affected and he is as lively and playful as any other puppy.
Hugo is too young for desexing. However, we want to get him settled as soon as possible in his forever home. His adoption can proceed as normal, but his ownership will remain with RSPCA until he is desexed (at our cost) at around six months of age.

Adoption details
The adoption process involves a phone discussion and completion of an application form. Following a successful meet and greet, there is a trial adoption period of two weeks, during which we will stay in touch and make sure the pet has settled in well. If so, the adoption will be completed by formal change of ownership via the microchip details.
All enquiries will be responded to.
