Hi there, I'm Balto!

A big ball of fluff that will easily keep you warm this winter.

Unlike who I'm named after, I'm not as adventurous and outgoing as he was. I'm quite the opposite, shy and tend to keep to myself most of the time.

I'm not a huge fan of being left alone, so I would love someone who's home most of the time to keep me company while I work on my independence skills.

Touching and handling is still new to me, so I would prefer a home with children who are aged 16 and over or adults as little kids cramp my style. I would love hoomans who respect that I may sometimes want time to myself.

I may be suitable to live with another dog, pending we have a successful first date at the shelter.

Being an older gent I come with some old age quirks, so I will require on-going regular vet checks.
