About Ruby
Hi I’m Ruby, I was saved from death row. Thankfully the team at Belle Vie stepped up and saved me before my time was up. I am the sweetest girl in the world!
I am extremely people orientated, very affectionate & greet everyone I meet with excitement hoping for pats.
Although I haven’t met any kids I believe I’ll be fine with them, I am very gentle and well behaved.
I love to fetch & play. I do jump up but i tend to do it extremely gentle - it’s more of a hug. We are working on not jumping.
I am great with cats, I walk up for a sniff and then stay out of their way. I am untested with dogs currently, but I believe I would be okay with them and enjoy a friend.
I currently sleep outside on the patio, I spend most of my days outside in the yard. I do come inside for short periods with my foster family and then go back outside to play.
I am responsive to my name & being called. I am perfecting sit and other basic training, However after some reassurance that i am indeed a “good girl” & a cuddle i will sit when told to. I am not a big fan of the lead but I am working on not being afraid.
I am good with my toileting on the grass, no mishaps on the patio or inside.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
At the end of the two week adoption trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name.
