About Maggie
We are looking for a special home for our sweet Fat Maggie!!
A bit about Maggie:
Maggie is a tabby girl, who came in to us with a litter of kittens, who have now all grown up and been adopted. Unfortunately, no one has been interested in Maggie!
Maggie is not a lap cat. She was very scared for a while, and then very protective of her kittens. Once she was seperated from her kittens, she was very timid, and didnt want to socialise much, and spent the majority of her time in an outdoor cat enclosure.
But she does LOVE pats but ONLY when she wants them.
Her hiss is all hiss, she has never tried to bite or scratch. She only hisses. Since becoming an indoor cat, her hissing has almost stopped completely, and she enjoys hanging out with her 'cat posse'.
She will hide when she doesn’t want to be around people. She has been around a 9-year-old, who was able to feed and pat her.
She is very independent and prefers to be left alone 90% of the time. She will let you know she wants a pat by meowing and coming out of hiding.
Maggie was an outside cat in an enclosure for a while, but recently has become and indoor cat, and is enjoying socialising with other cats, and finding lots of nooks and crannies to curl up in! Her favourite spot to snuggle up in, is the linen cupboard!! She will open the doors, and snuggle in there for hours until detected!
Fat Maggie will need to lose some weight, and will need excercise and a good diet. She is currently on Royal canin FIT cat dry food.
If you can give Maggie the love and attention to come out of her shell that she needs, please get in contact with us!
Medical notes
Needs weight loss! On Royal Canin Fit Dry Food, and portion control.

Adoption details
If interested in an animal that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet. Depending on the requirements of the animal, a house/property inspection may be required. It is a requirement that any dogs being adopted into a pre-existing dog home, will need to have a meet and greet with the dogs, to ensure they are a good match.
If approved for adoption, a mutually convenient time will be arranged, to complete the adoption paperwork. A trial adoption can be offered under certain circumstances if required, but will not be an option for every animal. It is at the discretion of Fin, Furred N Feathered, if this is an option. If you would like a trial adoption of 2 weeks, please speak to us! The adoption fee will need to be paid in full, before a trial adoption can take place.
If not approved for adoption, we are more than happy to have a chat with you, why you were not successful for that animal, to see if we can help you find your perfect family member!
**Please note: As we are very busy people, working full time jobs, and taking care of all our lovely animals (our most important and rewarding job!!), we require all interested people fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
ONLY FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT ADOPTING.
