Hello everyone, my name is Amos, but my foster mummy calls me her warrior prince, and this is my story.
Like a lot of us that come into Rescue life was a challenge for me right from the very beginning. When I came to live in my foster home I was this tiny little ball of fluff, but my foster mummy says she knew I was going to be ok because she saw in me that I had the fighting spirit of a warrior with the heart stealing qualities of any prince, so Amos warrior prince I became.
Because I was so tiny my foster mum carried me around zipped up in her jumper like a little Joey in the pouch. I would spend hours curled up there all cozy and warm so I just adore being carried around by my human. I also like to find that like crevice in your shoulder to lay my head on and I will keep purring even after I have fallen asleep. With my people, that’s where I want to be.
I don’t think there is ever a time I am not purring. When I went to get my vaccination the vet was trying to listen to my heart but I would not stop purring even when he turned on the tap to scare me (did I mention warrior spirit ) I would still not stop purring. So the vet says I will try to listen to his heart after I give him the needle. Silly vet, did that needle stop me purring, no way !! I am Amos warrior prince.
My foster mummy promises me she will be brave when my forever family comes to take me home, even though her heart will be sore. She says she understands when I have a family of my own to love me, another little bundle of fur can come and take my place, to know love and a chance of a great life just like I did.
So now that I have got my foster mummy all brave about my imminent departure to my forever family , all I need is you, my forever family to get in touch with Silver Lining. I’m waiting.........
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
