About Poppy DL2896
Poppy is a playful puppy who will keep you on your toes!
Poppy loves her toys and doing zoomies in the garden. She is exceptionally clever. She quickly soaks up everything you teach her. She already knows sit and drop and no, and now she's learning paw and crawl.
With working breeds in the mix, Poppy needs an active owner who will provide her with plenty of mental stimulation and training to keep her puppy brain busy. She's not a fan of being left home alone and will suit someone who has the time to work on this with her. Each day she is getting more comfortable with the crate and will go into it to have a lay down and chew her toys.
Poppy has lived with cats and another dog in her previous home. However, socially, she is reactive towards people and other dogs and can become defensive when they approach. She will need an experienced handler to continue her socialisation training in a controlled setting. Poppy is not suited to kids. She will be best as your only dog at this stage.
Poppy loves going on outings, at least one good walk each day, so working to improve her social manners is a must. At home, Poppy is a delight and she loves to cuddle. Once she settles in, you'll be besties and she'll keep you and herself entertained by playing with all the toys and squeaking the noisy ones... a lot!
If you'd love to welcome playful Poppy into your life, email DFL today to apply.
