Tama

Hi, I'm Tama - they say I'm a big, shy, sensitive, cuddly boy. I'm a bit of a goof ball, and sometimes I forget that I'm not a small lap dog. I'm looking for a calm and quiet home to help me settle and feel safe.
I can be quite worried in new environments and meeting new people, therefore I will need to go slow and be allowed to approach in my own good time.
My secrets, but happy to share: I quickly bond with people, I love a good bum scratch and I lean into touch. Chicken is also the way to my heart!

My ideal owner would be someone home more often than not, because I can fret when left by myself for too long, so slow training to be left for longer periods once I feel safe in my new home will be the way. I like enrichment feeding, sturdy toys and long-lasting chews. If you have another dog, ideally a girl, I should meet her at time of adoption. I would love a gentle, calm and social doggie girlfriend because deep down I'm actually a teddy bear. Before I forget, please don't take me to dog parks or off-leash areas.
