Dusty

Dusty is my name, and I'm a sweet, sensitive, shy little man.
I'm looking for a calm quiet home with not much foot traffic where I would benefit from some structure and routine to help me settle and feel safe.
I get worried with handling so we will need to go slow and work on building my confidence but my favourite meaty treats will be a good way to help build my trust and bond with my soon-to-be favourite human.
My carers at the shelter say I'm mainly an indoor dog, and they recommend crate training to give me a safe place to go to when I feel overwhelmed. I would do best with being walked on a little harness in a quieter areas and work on my confidence when on lead. I would be happy with teenage human siblings but must meet them at time of adoption, and the same goes for other dogs. Another friendly small breed dog could become my mate, help with my confidence and keep me company.
