Hi there

My name is Marley. I came into care with RSPCA after my owner passed away.
I am a very handsome Standardbred. I have a beautiful jet black coat, which makes me really stand out in a crowd. The ladies all watch me go by - they can hardly believe I am nearly 22 years old! I am so strong and fit I look like a youngster.
I am good natured and friendly and like to make new friends, both horse and human. I love to travel - just show me a horse float and I'm in!

The farrier and the vet have no trouble with me. As you can see in the photo, I behave myself very well. A position as a paddock companion would suit me best as I have not been worked for about 10 years.

I am up to date with all my treatments, including Hendra, tetanus and strangles vaccinations, worming and hoof trimming. I also recently had my teeth checked.

As I said, I am a handsome boy and sometimes all the admiration goes to my head a bit, so I might need to be reminded about my manners now and then.

At the moment, I'm in foster care in the Toowoomba area, which is nice, but I would really like to have a permanent home of my own.
