This precious lady along with her 34 sisters and one rooster were recently surrendered to the Spreyton Animal care centre, they are all calm girls who are believed to be 2 years old. They will make lovely little pets that will be the best organic pest controllers around! They have all been treated for parasites and are looking for nice homes to see out their days.
Backyard chickens can be a fun and rewarding pets. Caring for your feathered friends can be a blissful and rewarding experience that you will treasure for many years, You will need to care for your chickens every day, just like any other pet. However, chickens are relatively easy to look after. Typically, you will need to let your chickens out of their coop first thing in the morning if you have a secure yard, check for eggs and ensure they have food and fresh water. Your chickens will happily scratch around until you put them safely into their coop at night. You also need to set aside time each week to clean out the coop.
These lovely ladies can be found at our Spreyton animal care centre, it is important that you call first on 6709 8100 to make an adoption appointment.
