Leo is a really sweet boy. He loves company and would like a person or family where someone is around a lot. Leo us a typical Pom, likes to have a bit of a bark, nothing outrageous, just normal Pom stuff. If you are experienced with the breed then you’ll know what I mean ( so consider this if you are in an apartment or similar) .
Leo is soft and gentle and would need regular grooming. He is house trained and sleeps inside . He is good with kids but is better if they are quiet and gentle, so he wouldn’t suit a busy household. He is scared of toddlers and would prefer a home with kids 12 and over.
Leo can be vocal, especially during the period of settling in. He also likes to let you know if there is a delivery, or visitor and anything unusual happening. So if you work from home, and are in meetings etc, then this must also be a consideration. It’s important that we know that you’ve read this, so we are not repeating the same information ( HINT - you MUST mention the barking in your application) .
Please add in LOTS OF INFORMATION INTO YOUR APPLICATION.
Tell us about your experience, your lifestyle and how Leo might fit into that. Let us know why you think Leo us the dog for you. Preference will be given to those who put effort into applying.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
