On Hold
Meet Chestnut and Ochre, this pair was surrendered into our care last year on the on the 19th of December, they were eight months of age then.
The pair are brother and sister, it seemed a real shame to separate them seeing as they’ve been together their entire life. Amazingly Ochre had never fallen pregnant. But I didn’t want to take that risk. A lovely supporter by the name of Laszlo paid for Chestnuts de-sexing in full so they could remain a pair, so his surgery took place on the 21st of December.
Please note: Only Chestnut is de-sexed.
These guys came in a 1000 x 500 cage. The pair love to run around and require more space, so I’ve moved them into a 1400 x 700 cage. If wanting to adopt them they would benefit from a 5x2 C&C cage with a 2x2 loft even more! But what they’re currently in does work.
