About Zamba
Zamba is a sweet girl who is looking for a new home which is not fault of hers, her mum has a once in a lifetime opportunity and once Zamba to have a wonderful new home.
Zamba is desexed, has all her vaccinations up to date and receives heartworm treatment monthly.
Zamba was heartworm positive when she came into care however she was treated and is now heartworm free and requires nothing more than the monthly treatment, she was also hit by a car before adopted her and had surgery, thankfully it doesn’t impact her at all.
Zamba has been an inside dog for the last few years, she’s a big cuddle bug and loves to sleep under a cover. Remember she is from Far North Queensland so feels the cold a little. She can sit, stay and wait and has good recall off leash. House trained and is very low maintence all round.
Zamba can stay home alone with no separation anxiety and she’s generally happy with 30 minute walk a day (although she loves to run around off leash occasionally).
She is an absolute sweetheart, loves people and will crawl up in your lap at any opportunity. She will need some training to get her to not jump on people but her mum has been working on that for the past few months.
Zamba prefers to be the only dog and prefers not to share indoor space with other dogs.
Miss Zamba gets a little overwhelmed when she sees other dogs on walks but isn’t leash aggressive (just a little socially anxious and does a few twirls). With a little additional training Zamba and more social skills this will improve her on walks, and she generally walks well on a leash.
Zamba is not a barker also very rarely barks.
Zamba is only a med sized girl and will require an adopter or adopters willing to continue with her training to ensure she becomes the best girl ever
