About Peppa
ADOPT ME
Introducing Peppa - the sass queen.
This kitten is a little girl but a big purrsonality.
Peppa is friendly, out-going, packs a huge rumbling purr and has energy to run jump and play til the cows come home. Her zoomies around the house are something else to see!
Peppa may look like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth but we can solemnly swear she is up to no good 😉
Peppa is a cheeky girl who just loves to stir up every other cat in her foster home and make mischief wherever she goes - while looking totally adorable the whole time.
She LOVES people, though if you try to pick her up when you've only just met her, the look of daggers she will give you will have you dropping like an unwatered house plant! ""Who dares to hold me!?"" she will ask.
Peppa is living with a toddler but to be honest, she isn't thrilled about it.
A home with bigger kids or adults only will be more her cup of tea. (A cup she may well daintily push off the table...)
She is fine with the dog in her foster home but has interesting relationships with the other cats around her. This is where her sass really shows.
Peppa wants to play but sometimes really doesn't know how.
She does NOT share food so needs her own space to eat away from other cats.
She wants a friend but just isn't entirely sure how to navigate friendship.
We think that she will either be a content only cat (if she gets lots of stimulation and play from people). She could definitely live with a dog.
Or she would be well matched to another cat who is energetic and playful but willing to give her some space and accept if she's in a ""leave me alone!"" mood.
Oh and don't take her in the bathroom when you shower. She's most perturbed about this business of anyone voluntarily standing in water.
This girl is a walking set of quirky characteristics who will bring a smile to your face.
Peppa is nearly 5 months old and has been unfortunately stuck in foster care for a while due to a rather unfortunate problem.
She came into care with a small anal prolapse, basically a little bit of tissue from inside her anus that was everted and poking out.
Functionally, this has not affected her at all. She eats, drinks and poops without issue. There's mild discomfort there and in the longer term, there's a risk of infection or worsening of the condition.
The prolapse has finally resolved with treatment, right when we were starting to consider surgery (yay!)
There is a small possibility though, that it could recur in the immediate future and we may have to consider surgery in that case.
In that case, surgery costs would be covered by SAFE so that Peppa's new family are not out of pocket.
We're happy to share more info with anyone who is interested in welcoming Peppa into their family.
Her adoption fee is $200 and includes the normal stuff - desexing, microchip, vaccination.
Please message the page or email avonvalley@safe.org.au if you're home is just about odd enough to accommodate this funny and happy girl.
