FOOD
Anzac is on a diet of Royal Canin Puppy Food and fed 3 times daily however he is more of a grazer
so provided access to dry kibble all day. Anzac is food-orientated which will be a positive for any future training.
SLEEPING
Anzac sleeps inside every night on a warm snuggly bed alongside his big sister.
He sleeps well sometimes needing some reassurance you are there, he is an early riser and normally wakes around 6am
ready for cuddles, play and to start his day.
TOILETING/TRAINING
Anzac is continuing to learn about toilet training each day and the use of pee pads when inside.
Like any young pup he is still having accidents inside, it is important he is encouraged regularly to go outside, especially after a nap.
Due to Anzac's age and not being fully vaccinated he has not been on a lead outside the home.
It is important Anzac is enrolled in puppy school to further his training and taken for daily walks once age-appropriate and fully vaccinated
Anzac is a clever boy, he has on a few occasions started to use the pet door
Anzac has only traveled in the car a few times in a travel crate to and from the vet and traveled well.
EXERCISE
Anzac is a clever boy a quick learner and doesn't miss a thing!
He loves to play fetch and has started to return the ball, Anzac enjoys the outdoors, playing and exploring in the garden, wrestling with his big sis and loves loves loves toys of all sorts.
DOGS/CATS/SOCIALISATION
Anzac is currently in foster care with big sis Poppy, an 8-year-old Jack Russel, and a cat.
He is a little mischievous and cheeky towards the resident feline therefore the cat prefers to supervise puppy play from the cat tower.
Anzac has also had exposure to many of the farm animals at the AK9 Base camp, including other dogs, cats, and from a distance safely supervising when the horses and poultry, and livestock are being fed.
Anzac is in foster care with a family with teenagers and is loved by all, visitors included
Anzac is adored by his foster family therefore only the most loving forever home will be chosen for our beautiful boy.
Anzac would love the following type of home -
A decent size backyard with grass for him to run and play on that is securely fenced and shelter areas
A family that is willing to take Anzac to puppy school and ongoing training and keep her well socialized all through his life with other dogs
Daily walks and exercise when age-appropriate
A home with a medium female dog who is very well socialised with others, kind and gentle with puppies
Must be able to sleep indoors / undercover in a kennel or crate
A family that understands puppies take time to settle in and all things puppy including crying, mischievous behavior, chewing, very sharp teeth, and training, Training is essential !!!!
Puppies are a fair bit of work and we are seeking a family committed to ensuring Anzac develops to his full potential.
