About Ralph
Hi my name is Ralph. I am a sweet, 3.4 year old, red and tan kelpie boy. I am a confident young man who likes exploring, meeting new dogs and people. I am definitely a people loving dog and will accept love and attention from just about anyone!
I am super smart and always want to please so I learn new tricks fast. I know how to sit, finish giving affection on command (I want to give affection A LOT!) and go to my bed. I am toilet trained and will sleep through the whole night.
I do enjoy being around my furry sister even if she is a bit bossy, although I am also happy to have dedicated love and attention and could suit a home as an only dog, as long as my humans were around more often than not.
I love going for my daily walks and training and have a great off switch once my needs have been met. I am continuing to work on my commands, lead walking and recall in busy environments. I will also need a family that is dedicated in getting me into the best shape I can be, as I have some extra kilo’s I need to lose! I have come a long since being in care and really love my walks and exercise.
I have lived with kids and am a friendly sort, however, I am still learning that my big, boofy body needs to be calm around people, so I would be best suited to older kids. I have a strong desire to herd other pets (including my furry sister) and so I am probably best suited to a home without cats or pocket pets. I’m also more of an inside dog than an outside dog and would prefer a family that is home more often than not.
I am looking for a family who has lots of love to give and be happy to receive all of the love I have to give and include me in their daily lives and who is home more often than not. My new family will understand I need mental and physical stimulation and ongoing training and boundaries and who will be dedicated in managing my winter weight. In return I will give you so much love and all the cuddles you could want!

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
