About Wilbur
Wilbur is one of the most nonchalant, laid-back dogs you will ever have the joy of meeting.
This cutie-patootie is only 6-month old and has big puppy doe eyes, gorgeous floppy ears and he has the softest coat that you will ever pat. He gives great hugs and lap cuddles, he might fit into your lap now (just) but not for much longer!
Wilbur gets along with both people and other dogs, and he's a great combination of playful and placid when playing with his canine friends.
Wilbur has immensely enjoyed spending time with his foster dog brother, they love to play 'rough and tumble' followed by long naps in the sun! It's unknown whether Wilbur prefers sleeping or playing more, but both are guaranteed to be trumped by eating!
Wilbur has some basic obedience under his belt but ongoing training would be beneficial to help him grow into a well mannered adult boy. He is pretty good with his toilet training and loves to be involved in the happenings around the house.
Wilbur's personality comes through when he is happy, which usually involves "speaking", groaning, muttering and generally attempting to converse. His sleeping behaviours are interesting and range from sleeping with his eyes open, snoring louder than a human, twitching like he's running a race, and tail thumping against the floor like he's just met the bestest girlfriend ever.
Wilbur should integrate into most homes pretty easily, ideally, he would be best placed into a home with another friendly doggo mentor. He would be fine to be rehomed into a family with children but he is going to be a BIG adult boy so any children will need to be confident around big bouncy dogs.
All things considered, we feel that beautiful Wilbur is going to be an amazing and loyal family companion... his laid-back demeanour and cuddliness will melt you in just moments and he is simply divine.
Wilbur comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked and worm & flea treated. His adoption fee also includes a large bag of large breed premium puppy food and a 5 week 'Puppy Primary School Course'.
