About Cali ~ Staffy X Labrador(On trial 10/7/22)
Are you looking for a gentle little scallywag to raise from a puppy? Is there room in your heart for me to fit in with your family? If so don’t look any further. Cali is a gorgeous 13week old Staffy X Labrador and is on the hunt for her new forever home.
Cali would like to tell you more about herself: Hi! Im Cali! I’m cheeky and entertaining to have around and my foster carer says I will have you laughing with some of the things I do. Just the other day, I had her shaking her head when I brought the frisbee inside through the doggie door because you couldn’t see my little face, just the frisbee coming through.
I’m an inside dog so if you want someone to snuggle up with you on the lounge that’s me! I snuggle up with my carer on the bed and , sometimes, if I’m really cold I sneak under the blankets if she lets me. I like to be with my humans. Sometimes when my foster mum is sitting at the table I’ll go an lay on her foot just to be near her.
I’m looking for the trust, loyalty and companionship that you’ll get back from me a hundred-fold. I'm a very gentle sole and I have so much love to give so I aim to please which has made it easy to train me. I’m house- trained but you will need to remind me to go outside until I know my way around my new home. I also know how to sit & shake hands and now I’m learning to drop. I come when you call my name or whistle. My carer has also been training me to walk on lead but I’m not allowed to walk on grass in public areas until I’m fully vaccinated.
I love playing with my frisbee as well as my balls and toys. I need a medium- size yard so I can run around as I grow an I’ll need 6 ft fences. I currently live with two foster babies an we have so much fun chasing each other so I’m very dog friendly.
My perfect family will have an active lifestyle and will enjoy walking me daily as well as taking me on adventures with them. I will benefit from obedience classes at puppy school. I would be suitable for children over the age of five years old only cause I’m only a puppy and I might knock little ones when I get excited.
As Cali isn’t yet desexed she is only available for adoption to residents of Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and the Port Stephens area because she will need to be returned to one of our DRN - approved vets for desexing when she is 5/ 6 months old. This is not negotiable.
Cali’s Adoption fee is $700 which includes all up to date vet work, desexing and vaccination. Cali has been treated for fleas, tick and worms. Cali is in foster care in the Port Stephens Area NSW.
